This is not a music or singing workshop. It’s a sound therapy approach to reclaiming your voice.
As kids, many of us were told to shush or that we could not sing.
Others have been in situations where it’s been unsafe to speak out loud, so we’ve shut down or blocked off our voice and our stories.
You might be a confident leader and public speaker at work, and yet struggle to express emotions or articulate the personal.
As a sound therapist, the throat - our communication centre - is the most commonly blocked energy centre that is released in client sessions.
There is an untapped reservoir of power that’s waiting to be unleashed when you feel safe to give life to your voice, and to give voice to your life.
The research of Alfred Tomatis revealed that we can’t speak what we don’t hear.
Our ear is a portal to consciousness yet humans often block out or limit the frequencies that have rattled our nervous system in the past, limiting the scope of our potential.
That extends to the vibration and impact of words, stories and beliefs.
But with intentional voice work we can tap into the body as an instrument to retune, reconnect and come back into natural resonance.
Our voice is both a diagnostic tool that reveals, and also medicine that releases and recalibrates our systems.
